"One Nation Controlled By the Media"
Well kids, its all over. According to all of the major news corporations and even the small indy media, Kerry has conceeded to Bush. I went to bed last night with a small sinking feeling in heart and a funny feeling in my tummy after watching CNN showing great portions of the United States map covered in red like a blood-stain of patriotism in favor of Bush. But I was lulled to sleep optomistically in believing that Americans aren't really stupid enough to fall for the same dog and pony show again and that CNN are a bunch of right-wing corporate whores . But I apparently was wrong, at least about the former. I'll be honest, I didn't really like John Kerry all that much and yeah, the guy really didn't have all that much personality or substance. Yes, perhaps the Democratic Party could have chosen a better candidate to represent its platform. But having to choose between a known fuck up and a cardboard cut-out, I chose the latter, because it basically boiled down to voting for the candidate that wasn't GeorgeW. Bush. I would have voted for anyone or anything that the Democratic Party endorsed. Gary Coleman? you betcha! Spongebob Squarepants? sure. A box of Cheez-its? Hell yeah!!! Here's hoping that the next four years go fast without going to any more poorly planned wars. ~"Don't wanna be an American Idiot"
