The Lord is on Board

There are many interesting things that are left in the laundry room in my apartment building. It has sort of become the community Good Will with people leaving old books, household items and coupons for others to take. Today I found something there that I just couldn't pass up, just for the kitsch value alone: a membership to the Sacred Heart Auto League. Yes, I am now a member of the Scared Heart Auto League (SHAL)The perks of my membership include a small plastic square with Jesus on it and a little booklet that demands that I should drive with the tenets of the Lord in mind. I think that this will go well with the Serene Driver Discount that I recieved on my insurance from Buddha.

The rainy overcast days that we have been having in Tucson of late have cast an ethereal veil over my life of late. I've noticed that these last few days I haven't really been present in or aware of my surroundings, just sort of going through the motions. Things have been going both better and worse than what I had originally planned them to be.
